Mark my words: If it isn’t already, social media is going to be like email for all tech users: indispensable. It is no longer acceptable for CEOs to cast social media aside because they either don’t understand it or don’t want to mess with it.
This is a huge issue! The only reason they don’t get it is because they don’t understand that the new word of mouth has gone digital. It’s a changing of the guard (old guy vs new guy) issue. The first subject when interviewing clients has to do with their exit strategy – if it involves growth then sell off, there must be an understanding of the value of social media.
